Since it’s inception in 1987 Australian Brake Controls (ABC) has become a market leader in Commercial and Industrial Brakes. ABC specialises in mining & industrial brake systems, commercial vehicle brake systems, and the design of specialised braking systems for custom applications. We value our customers and seek to develop long term relationships by providing the right solution to meet your requirements.

In October 2009, Australian Brake Controls (ABC) became part of the Air Springs Supply group of companies, giving the business access to an Australia-wide network of offices and warehouses to enable us to hold stocks of key components in all states. Being part of this progressive group gives ABC the foundation to further grow and diversify their product range.

ABC is an Australian distributor for Carlisle Industrial brake & friction products for heavy off-road applications and are authorised distributors/stockists for leading commercial brands including Bendix, Knorr Bremse, Clayton Dewandre, WABCO and Bosch Chassis Systems (PBR Commercial).

From our comprehensively stocked Sydney warehouse, we service all Australian states as well as neighbouring countries. Your requirements can normally be filled and shipped overnight to all capital cities and many larger regional cities in Australia.

From 1987 until November 2010 ABC was the major distributor of Mico Inc products in Australia. ABC currently has a vast stock of Mico products and are able to fulfil most needs from our extensive stock range.

We also offer an extensive range of workshop services from repairs and remanufacture of components to the testing and installation of both standard and custom brake systems.

ABC has a depth of knowledge aimed at making your job easier with many years of industry experience. With dedicated in-house engineering staff with an intimate & extensive knowledge of brake design and industry specific regulations, supported by our cutting edge testing equipment and on-site workshop, ABC gives you the confidence that we will design and support your new or existing brake system.
